Internal Service
Curriculum Team: Reviewed SLOs and rationales for course activations, deactivations, and modifications, supporting clear and measurable learning outcomes for the yearly course catalog.
Humankind Team: Coordinated events including "The Power of Storytelling" by Jenifer Strauss (20+ attendees, 100+ YouTube views) and the "Jars of Joy" workshop with Ellie Markovitch (42 attendees, 142 Facebook interest). Suggested the current Common Read, Tom Lake.
External Service
College Edge: Taught the two-week English Academy for potential students, leading to recognized familiar faces across multiple semesters — fostering persistence, encouragement, and belonging.
Community English Program: Conceptualized from scratch to serve the growing Hispanic community of Oceana County. Presented impact to the Board of Trustees, created diagnostic proficiency assessments, and established referral partnerships with Read Muskegon.
